Riot Games released a stunning new cinematic trailer for the return of the League of Legends Spirit Blossom event, with Season 2: Spirit Blossom Beyond set to kick off on April 30. The visuals feature the backing of some lovely vocals courtesy of Lilas Ikuta of pop duo YOASOBI—who previously performed themes for the likes of Oshi no Ko and BEASTARS, among others—and composer Kevin Penkin (The Rising of the Shield Hero, Made in Abyss).
The animation comes from London-based studio THE LINE, which previously worked on the Overwatch 2 x Transformers animation among many other projects, including previous League of Legends cinematics. Check it out along with the song itself, “Here, Tomorrow,” below.

The Spirit Blossom Beyond event will feature the return of Xin Zhao, new legendary skins and more. A pair of motion comics, the first of which launches on May 14, will explore the story further.
