Even an Energizer Bunny like Shoyo Hinata needs to recharge his batteries every once in a while, so the little volleyball player who could chugs electrolytes to keep reaching new heights in a new animated commercial for the Aquarius sports drink’s “Michiteru Kimi wa, Ii Kao da” (“You Look Good When You’re Full of Energy”) campaign.
The new footage, produced by Haikyu!! anime studio Production I.G., is part of a series of commercials coinciding with the April 21 flavor relaunch. Professional basketballer Yuki Kawamura and skateboarder Coco Yoshizawa are also featured in the longer version below.

The upcoming Haikyu!! vs. Chiisana Kyojin (“The Little Giant”) anime film, which serves as the sequel to last year’s HAIKYU!! The Dumpster Battle, is currently in production at studio Production I.G. A release date is yet to be confirmed.

Based off of the original Weekly Shonen Jump manga series from Haruichi Furudate, Haikyu!! is a slice-of-life sports anime revolving around Shoyo Hinata’s love of volleyball. Inspired by a small-statured pro volleyball player, Hinata creates a volleyball team in his last year of middle school. Unfortunately the team is matched up against the “King of the Court” Tobio Kageyama’s team in their first tournament and inevitably lose. After the crushing defeat, Hinata vows to surpass Kageyama After entering high school, Hinata joins the volleyball team only to find that Tobio has also joined.
