Japanese record company Nippon Columbia has announced that voice actor Hina Suguta, best known as Marin Kitagawa in My Dress-Up Darling, will make her CD debut on June 11, 2025, with her first album “FEVER – Bokutachi no Keikaku (Our Plan).”
She also announced the news on her official YouTube channel on April 17, her 30th birthday. She said, “For the past year, I’ve been sharing various songs at various gigs with you. And for those who have been waiting, ‘I wonder if this could be made into a CD?’ Finally, the CD will be released! I am also very much looking forward to it!”
While working as a voice actor, Suguta made her solo artist debut in April 2024, her 29th birthday, with her first digital single “Lavender Blue.” Her second digital single “My Truth” followed in July 2024, and the third single “Bakkadana” in October 2024.
This is the first time that she has released a physical CD. The album contains 10 songs in total, including three previously-released digital single songs, six original songs performed at her first live concert held in May 2024, and the latest song “Tadoritsuita Basho de Atashi Onetsu ga Deteru” (“I’ve got a fever where I’ve arrived”) performed at her acoustic concert in November 2024. She also plays the guitar for all the songs on the album, which also shows her side as a musician.
Additionally, a talk and live event to celebrate her CD debut will be held in Tokyo on July 20.
