Based on the light novels by Shisui Meikyo and tef, Katsushi Sakurabi (Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?: Arrow of the Orion) directs Backstabbed in a Backwater Dungeon at studio J.C.STAFF, with series composition by Hiroshi Onogi (Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood), character designs by Yukie Suzuki (TSUKIMICHI -Moonlit Fantasy-) and music by Ryo Takahashi (WIND BREAKER). Yoshikazu Iwanami serves as sound director.
