The official YouTube channel for singer-songwriter sorato is now streaming a music video for her second digital single song “Tsuki ni Negau” (“Make a wish on the moon”). The pop tune is now featured as the ending theme for the spring 2025 TV anime The Brilliant Healer’s New Life in the Shadows.

sorato is a singer-songwriter from Nagasaki Prefecture, born from a joint project between THE NINTH APOLLO, a music label that includes My Hair is Bad and Hump Back, and TOY’S FACTORY/VIA. She made her debut with her first digital single song “Taion” (“body temperature”) in February 2025.
“Tsuki ni Negau” released digitally on April 11 as her first anime theme song work. The music video was directed by Ao Inoue, known for his MV works for Tele, Wez Atlas, and This is LAST, and features sorato strumming a guitar and singing in an observatory.

The TV anime adaptation of The Brilliant Healer’s New Life in the Shadows fantasy light novel series created by Sakaku Hishikawa (story) and Daburyu (illustrations) premiered in Japan on April 3, 2025. Crunchyroll is streaming the anime for members in North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, CIS, Indian subcontinent and Southeast Asia.
