Singer ano’s official YouTube channel has started streaming a music video for “LoliRockyunRobo,” the theme song for ME & ROBOCO: The Movie, the anime film based on the comedy manga by Shuhei Miyazaki.

The pop tune was written and composed by ano herself, and arranged by TAKU INOUE. It released digitally on April 18, and will also be included in her upcoming second album “BONE BORN BOMB” to release in Japan on June 4.
Nao Watanabe, known for his commercial movie works for Nissin Foods’ instant ramen brand Cup Noodles, served as the director of the music video. In the video, ano is transformed into a robot wearing the same orange space suit that she wears on the single jacket. Using clay animation and computer graphics, the clip creates a playful and retro futuristic element of Y2K.

ME & ROBOCO: The Movie opened in Japan on April 18, 2025. It features an original story based on the episode “Multiverse and Roboco,” in which Roboco from various world lines come together. In addition to Mayumi Tanaka for the classic battle world, Shigeru Chiba for the genuine sci-fi action world, and Masako Nozawa for the Showa-era gag manga world, Sumire Uesaka voices the Roboco in the world of romantic comedies.

The TV anime series aired for 28 episodes from December 2022 to June 2023. Crunchyroll is steaming the TV series and describes its synopsis as such:

Roboco is twice the size of other maids, twice as strong, and twice as weird! Something’s off about this robot. Can Bondo and his friends figure out her secret?
