April 18, on the opening day of the Detective Conan: One-eyed Flashback movie in Japan, the four-piece Japanese rock band King Gnu also digitally released the film’s theme song “TWILIGHT!!!,” posting the music video on their official YouTube channel.

King Gnu made their major debut from Sony Music Labels’ Ariola Japan label in 2019. The band is known for their fourth CD single song “Ichizu,” which was featured as the theme song for the 2021 anime film JUJUTSU KAISEN 0. “TWILIGHT!!!” is their first theme song work for the Detective Conan anime franchise in their career.
The music video is their first live-action clip since “SPECIALZ” in 2023, which was also directed by OSRIN. The band members and many other performers appear, sing and dance on a large set. OSRIN said, “This music video is a challenge with the intention of renewing King Gnu. Maybe there is a discrepancy between the voice and the visuals. That was also a challenge. A challenge of a lot of sets. A challenge of music and visuals. Please enjoy it.”

Detective Conan: One-eyed Flashback, the 28th feature film in the Detective Conan/Case Closed anime franchise, is directed by Katsuya Shigehara (unit director on Detective Conan: Kurogane no Submarine), with Takeharu Sakurai (Kurogane no Submarine, The Scarlet Bullet and more Conan movies) on the script.
