With Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX underway, fans are more eager than ever to learn about the story and the alternate Universal Century in which it takes place. Fortunately, there will be a place and time to do just that: next month in Ikebukuro.
The upcoming Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX -Beginning- Exhibition will immerse visitors in the world of the series’s theatrical release. While details are scant so far, a new visual for the evening has been released:

So far, the event promises “a display of memorable scenes,” as well as standees of both the show’s human stars and their iconic Mobile Suits. Photo spots will recreate scenes from the series, and visitors interested in the production side can peruse materials such as original scripts. An AR corner will let attendees take enhanced photos during their visit.
The Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX -Beginning- Exhibition will run from May 24 to August 11 at Ikebukuro’s Anime Tokyo Station and is free to attend. More details will be released at a later date.
