After over a year of no news for the second season of isekai fantasy anime Reborn as a Vending Machine, I Now Wander the Dungeon, the adaptation of creator Hirukuma’s light novels, revealed that the next season will premiere in July 2025. A teaser trailer summing up the first season and a teaser visual have been released to commemorate the news as well as details on the new staff members.

Takashi Yamamoto (Onigiri) is taking over as director for Reborn as a Vending Machine season 2 at Studio Gokumi and AXsiZ. Tatsuya Takahashi (The Faraway Paladin) continues to write the series composition with Takahiro Sakai (Yuki Yuna is a Hero) continuing to design the characters alongside Naoki Yamauchi, who was previously the chief animation director.
The first season of Reborn as a Vending Machine, I Now Wander the Dungeon aired from July to September 2023. Crunchyroll streamed the season as it aired, describing the series as such:
The future of this fantasy world now lies in the hands of…a vending machine! Boxxo was once a human, until he died in an accident and was reincarnated as a sentient piece of machinery. While he can still hear and see, there’s no way for him to move by himself or speak more than his programmed phrases. How can he make the most of this strange new life?
