The four-piece Japanese rock band [Alexandros] released a music video for their new song “Koeru” (“Transcending”) on their official YouTube channel. The rock tune is now featured as the opening theme for the first cour of the Umamusume: Cinderella Gray TV anime.
The music video was produced under the theme of “past, present, and future,” and consists of videos of the band’s past live performances, music videos and behind-the-scenes footage projected on giant LED screens.

[Alexandros] was first formed in 2001 under the name [Champagne] by guitarist and vocalist Yohei Kawakami, but has used its current name since 2014. They are known for their theme song works for Mobile Suit Gundam: Hathaway (2021) and Aoashi (2022).
“Kakeru” released digitally on April 6 and is also included in the band’s latest ninth original album “PROVOKE,” which also released today in Japan.

The TV anime adaptation of Umamusume: Cinderella Gray, a spin-off manga from the Umamusume: Pretty Derby franchise, premiered in Japan on April 6, 2025. The series streams on Amazon Prime Video and REMOW’s YouTube channel in North America.
The story of Umamusume: Cinderella Gray follows Oguri Cap, a horse girl whose wild running style defies all common sense and who grows to be called a “monster” as she strives to become the strongest runner at Kasamatsu Training Center Academy, a school that teaches horse girls how to race.
