Aikatsu! and Pripara, two popular idol-themed franchises will collaborate to produce a theatrical anime feature film, titled Aikatsu! × Pripara THE MOVIE -Deai no Kiseki!-. “Deai no Kiseki” in the title can be translated as The Miracle of Encounter or The Trajectory of Encounter. The original film featuring a new story and new live performances will release in Japan this fall.
The film’s official website and X (formerly Twitter) also opened today, releasing a teaser trailer and visual. Both feature Akari Ozora, the protagonist of the second half of the Aikatsu! TV series, and Laala Manaka, the protagonist of the Pripara TV series and one of the main characters of its direct sequel, Idol Time Pripara.

The Aikatsu! TV anime series began airing in September 2012, while Pripara in July 2014. Both franchises have continued to be highly popular today, while spawning various forms of sequels and spin-offs.
Takahiro Okawa, who served as episode animation director for Aikatsu Stars! and Aikatsu Friends!, episode director for Aikatsu on Parade!, is attached to direct Aikatsu! × Pripara THE MOVIE -Deai no Kiseki!- on a screenplay by Michihiro Tsuchiya at Bandai Namco Pictures. Additionally, Ryuichi Kimura and Makoto Moriwaki, who directed Aikatsu! and Pripara, respectively, participate as supervisors.
As of this reporting, the only voice actors confirmed to appear in the film are Shino Shimoji as Akari Ozora and Himika Akaneya as Laala Manaka.
