It was gold until they changed the artist and ruined the entire story.
Dumb comment indeed. It’s the same artist. Story did get slower but artist got better, cleaner and more refined.

agreed.. zes the earlier artist / illustrator was Jinho Ko, and i love his work, kinda full of art on the coloring, he got his own characterized taste. Jinho Ko earlier work was : Terror Man and Terror Vs. Revival, you could see same art style same color, drawing layout. Yes not much details in some parts, body proportion was more fantasy illustration rather than real life human proportion, and some sharp emotion going along with his works, and it’s very mesmerizing. The later art was done by the same artist who work on Return of The Unrivaled Spear Knight. you could see all the similarity on the artworks, more faces, flat color, more details on faces but many reader complaints that kinda almost same face but with a little differentiation with head form. for me, it’s kinda too many flat face and closed up faces. his style can’t really describe a very amazing ambient like what Jinho Ko capable of.i also one who was plummeted with the art change, which become more visible starting ch 50 or 51.HorizonLogin sure i don’t know why the title wrote the same artist name, probably it is a name of a group? just like the Return of The Unrivaled Spear Knight did not wrote artist name, but wrote a group name. but if you read those titles i mention above, you will know how they are different artist. but surely both are of very different art style and pretty much sure different artist work on those. i am guessing this could be happen because the artist / editorial staff didn’t really care much of those little writing under the title, or DJ Dino actually represent a group name which make it sense that they don’t need to change it if they had different artist workin on it.note: i wrote this comment as i reach chapter 51, still reading it on.. but i can be sure that ch 51 is a work of same artist as Return of The Unrivaled Spear Knight

Started good, then just got boring. Mc gets powerups just because.
sh*t was awesome in the beginning. a smooth flowing story with no romantic bullsh*t and meaningful side characters with proper development. damn i followed it but turns out they changed the fu*kin artist bruh. never drpped something so fast (i did try to read further but i just couldn’t)F to another manhwa which could’ve been really good.

i dont know what these people are talking about, but i compared chapter 49 with new chapters and it looks completely identical if not better. these guys in comments dont know what “bad art” means, anyways i cant say anything about plot as i have yet to read, if its any good expect full review of 78 chapters by tomorrow.approved, go read
Just finished rereading. I don’t think the art quality dropped, but I do think the poor quality is more noticeable with more characters in every panel. Season 1 didn’t have many groups of NPCs with faces, it was MC and whatever/whoever he was fighting or speaking with. Season 2 we’ve got a bunch of extras filling out the scenery, and it’s not pretty.I thought chapter 51 had a noticeable dip, but it turns out this comic has a habit of introducing someone with high detail and immediately dropping that detail -sometimes within the same chapter.The flattening in detail of Nerester’s hair, Gility’s pared down tattoos, and the copy-pasted faces were always there in low quality from the start. The season 2 scenes definitely feel less dynamic though.
Respoting my review. Season 1 was good but season 2 bad.. I don’t even care about the art style. It’s more like MC’s power is all over the place in season 2, he can conjure power using words so he can basically pull anything out of his ass and win not adding his demon devouring power.. Now he’s trying to grow a flower. Hahaha.. Should have stick with political revenge tbh.. the other nobles with powerful families are more interesting ng demons
i st ill reaching on ch 52, the artstyle really change from TerrorMan to Return of The Unrivaled Spear Knight, a total flip. and as you describe, probably right, TerrorMan work usually still showing MC need to struggle, but on Return of The Unrivaled Spear Knight MC mostly got boost up then become OP and win most fight very easily.

Crazy how one of the coolest Manhwas of the previous few years got ruined after a break/hiatus. I feel scared to read every manhwa returinf from a break now. So many of them came back with different art, completely different pace of story, etc.RIP
