It looks like asura did this with the comments to increase viewership on poorly preforming series. So ill just start leaving reviews again.Not gonna bother scoring this one, i dropped it within about 10 or so chapters due to the MC being absolute garbage.

I dropped this around chapter 50 or something. But it’s a hard read in my opinion I only kept on reading cause the power system was interesting

Solid 9/10 so far (haven’t read s2)It’s just a breath of fresh air to see a mc not hellbent on revenge and not obsessed with being the cold brutal regressor that they are. MC here just really loves magic and does everything to learn it.The first arc reminds me a lot of Mushoku Tensei, like, they really humanize the parents of the mc. They aren’t just throwaway characters, they’re important in the MC’s life as they should be.I understand why others call it a meh, some chapters drag on for too long, some too short.The main thing I’ll point out is that the MC can be a bit comically op sometimes. But I don’t mind mostly, the story gives proper reasons and validations for his power i.e., his trainings, studies, self insight, and guidance from othersplus, he’s an innocent lil kid, and a smart one tooRead it if you’re tired of edgy dark mcs I guess and ya have free time.

Mc is a fking cry baby

I don’t care what that long ass essay said this is good. It’s a solid 7.1on average but also gets to a good 8.76. But since there is a art style changed it did drop down in my rating to a 6.7 because the art was super Good. But now I have to get used to the new art style. But I do have to admit it did slow down a bit in the later chapters because of all the reading and less action but it did pick up after a few chapters. Overall it’s a good story.

This series is not well fitted for the overly edgy teenagers who are mainly the audience in this website. So, if you’re mainly from mangadex or if you’re versatile in your preference, this is a great read. The worldbuilding is masterclass. How the magic works, the academy system, familial relationship, etc. The setting of this series is pretty tame but that’s fine because it fits the genre. Usually we have naive MC vs cunning villain with r*pe tendencies or other BS. But in this case although MC is not an edgy kid who wants to kill everybody, the side characters are pretty nice, even the antagonist characters. So, they balanced out.Although, yes there is a female character who is a bit annoying at the start and MC kinda followed her whining and was being “too nice”. But if it was a real life situation, it was the right thing to do considering MC’s circumstances. MC and the female lead circumstances was a bit messy, but if you can ignore it, it’s fine. This is the reason why these people are whining about the series saying “beta” or other ridiculous things. Maybe they’re just projecting their insecurities. The downside of this series is nowhere as bad as these people are saying. It’s just the scenario for the female lead could’ve been done better. Other than that, this series is well made.

71 chapters in, genius mc is still shit at magic.mc uses wind magic to launch a bunch of thugs into the air, never uses it againmc uses his ultra big brain skill to master basic swordmanship before he even touches magic. never uses it again.mc masters the ability to use magic forms. mc cannot use offensive magic. never uses offensive forms.mc apparently learns how to reflect anti magic using a super special defense form. never uses this again.mc learns how to use “teleportation magic”, which really just turns you into a beam of light, by himself. he apparently masters its use during the test and escapes death whilst saving someone using his super big brain skill. never learns any other magic.mc learns how to launch light without help by counting. never learns any other magic.mc learns how to feel an infinite number of magic balls in order to hit floating targets. literally means nothing because his light spell has 0 damage. still never learns any other magic.mc learns how to add mass to light photons after dipping his balls into infinity without protection while fighting furries. by this point he only knows 2 spellsdark magic gooners with literally 2 chapters of exposition immediately goon all over the elite magic school with powers that defy all prior logic. mc needs to save everyone because dark magic is conveniently weak to light.mc would rather tear the earth apart with his bare hands than learn magic.

SS2 is out and I’m not even noticing and there’s 6 chapters!? They change the artist a pity I like the old style more with fiercer look

Dropping at 26th chapter….wasted my time on a f*cking pushover mc with bully fmc and cliche plot…I don’t know why but I am feeling sh*t ton of anger right now.

I was actually really interested in the story and the world, so I went ahead and read the translated novel chapters. And oh boy…If you like it, know that the MC becomes an unlikable hypocrite. The story also tries to portray class discrimination, pedophilia, and abuse of power as good things. I don’t know how it got to that point considering the beginning of the story… I am still confused about it.The worldbuilding and the magic system are very quickly going down in uniqueness and even sense. I was interested because I’ve not seen a lot of stories connect physics and magic like this, but it seems the author didn’t really bother learning any of the physics that he’s writing about. And it’s more and more obvious as it goes on.If you think the mind break of the Infinite Realm will matter for the MC, you’ll be disappointed. We’re in Fairy Tail levels of plot armor.I read people saying that it gets much much better in the long run, but at least in the ~160 chapters that are translated as of this moment, it will get much much worse first. There are roughly 1200 chapters, so it will also take 5-10 years for people to translate all of it; and the manhwa will never finish the story.Overall I wanted to give it an 8/10, maybe even a 9/10 cause the magic system and the world seemed really unique. Very few manhwa make me want to go and read the novel. After reading the novel, at the current translated chapter at least, it’s has gone down to a straight 2/10.Edit. Forgot to add, but the characters seemed to always be the weakest part of the series. But later on I’m questioning if they are actual people. It would make more sense if we’re suddenly told the MC dropped on his head while sorting books and then dreamt the entire Academy part while in a coma. That would non ironically also make the story better than it gets in the next ~100 chapters.

Well some guys are talking shit about this but it is worth it. It is a master piece if you get annoyed by the red girl then just be patient it gets better when the unlock concept comes in and she get less annoying too. I will also say we all hate sukura about that doesn’t mean we hate the whole show.
