I went looking for memes but I found disappointment
This is probably one of the worse vr mmorpg. As a game, not the story.;I already experienced it but this kind of game that has heavy group only content is terrible. I can assure you if this was realistic people would complain the lack of solo content. The game shown bits of how the item economy and it is horrible like a typical mmorpg, probably in the future RMT is allowed now but shit, if this was a real game it would be horrible for new players.;I got this experience playing Albion Online, despite the game has full loot drop pvp. A lot of people want solo content, which soon there is with the Mist update. But the update I saw it’s not even solo sadge, it still a 1-4 people content.
Skill issue
Also addition to the group content. Jesus christ even for newbies just hunting a fox was already hard and require a group. Also the game terrible with maintenance just to try fixing many broken feature or something. It’s like they just slap the early access with good to play now. It’s really funny like how the fuck you didn’t add a guild feature yet but you do it in future updates?
As mainly a solo player I agree, that kinda sucks for mmorpg’s, relying on groups to be able to progress in the story or gear. An example would be soulworker I guess, in order to get late stage gear you need to go on raids and grind ur way through and get the gear. You can finish the story with the free gear the game gives you but it will progressively get harder to clear stages in the story unless you have the late-game gear. It would’ve been better if it had a way to grind for gear solo (there is solo raids too but unless you have the strongest gear set currently available it’s impossible to solo raid, you’ll have to chip away at the boss’ health for a long time even with the gear that you can get from that boss

If you are looking for a manwha were the MC plays a VRMMO this is a well made one, the shenanigans from the player perspective are realistic and if you’ve played a mmo before you could relate to the happenings. From the develpment part of the game you can tell the author at least knows the scene. There is game terminology from the go without boring explinations, aside from TL notes, so you can feel like the characters know what they’re doing. Up to ch. 40 the story relates the MC and his newfound party day by day progression through the game, so the pace is slow for now.

there is nothing wrong with this series as of 20+ chapters, but its kind of fucking boring tbh, there is nothing about this manhwa that hooked me to continue reading, nothing interesting, a simple generic vrrmo Korean manhwa that has nothing that stands out, adios
Even though yeah, it needed pacing but it’s situational. If you don’t have good artstyle quickly move to the interesting part/action part like the game world or the main game. If you have a very good artsyle you can pace the story a bit more like introducing the characters more and setting up the character’s trait more. This felt slow because the artstyle is not the best and there’s no explanation about the interesting part. Usually you want to hook readers with the interesting part in the first chapter. But this first chapter is boring because MC doesn’t really look cool or epic. It looks like mc is just playing games normally.
People have different main thing yknow especially with illustrators. From my experience action shots/fight scenes is a pretty big learning curve for the run of the mill illust. I know people that are really good at fight scenes but suck at background or foreground art vise versa. Some illusts got shoved with stuff that’s not suitable for their style etc… Resulting in good normal panels and subpar action panels etc…(well they signed up for it, it’s kinda their fault for signing up to something their not completely prepared for)(this is what kinda separates a good manhua/manhwa illust with everyone else)
