Masuda Kosuke's Gag Manga Biyori manga is currently celebrating its 25th anniversary. For the big two-five, the franchise previously revealed it will get a fifth anime adaptation, with the staff and cast from the previous series' returning for another round of jokes. A stage event was held for the series at Jump Festa 2025 today with the first trailer for the Gag Manga Biyori GO anime, also known as Masuda Kosuke Gekijo Gag Manga Biyori GO in Japanese (“GO” being the Japanese word for “5”), released by REMOW alongside details on the opening and ending themes, and a new cast member.Gag Manga Biyori GO - First Teaser TrailerThe teaser trailer previews the ending theme song “Happy Ending,” performed by Tetsuya Kanmuri (THE Kanmuri).
