Girl Crush Manga Sells 500,000 Digital Copies Ahead of Physical Release
Tayama Midori’s coming-of-age manga of two young girls who dream of becoming K-Pop idols, Girl Crush, has already surpassed 500,000 volumes sold – without even one book on physical selves! Today, the first two volumes of Girl Crush were released in stores in Japan. Still, the series had already seen a digital release, where it gained a massive following and subsequently found a physical publisher.To celebrate the release of the volumes today, a manga trailer was released alongside a poster that can be seen in bookstores across Japan, celebrating the 500,000-copy milestone.- 0
