Back in December, One Piece locked in plans for another sports collab that has the series joining the Los Angeles Lakers for a game night in LA on February 28, 2025. With the event nearly upon us, more details have been unveiled, including a full visual and some of the exclusive merch that will be on hand.That particular Friday night—which will see the Lakers take on the Clippers at Crypto.com Arena—will have a few One Piece-themed treats in store, including the first look at a piece of animation that depicts Luffy playing basketball. There are also Lakers-inspired visuals for all the Straw Hats, which you can see in their collective visual below.As for apparel, those in attendance will get the limited-edition Lakers x ONE PIECE t-shirt pictured at the top of the article and a poster featuring the above artwork.

One Piece has another sports tie-in lined up, this time with the Los Angeles Lakers. Luffy and co. will hit the court for the LA Lakers Game Night Collab on February 28, 2025.
