Apart from advanced theatrical screenings of Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX -Beginning-, it has become the first Japanese theatrical anime film to reach the one billion yen mark among films released in 2025.The post also shared a new celebratory illustration drawn by the film's character designer and chief animation director, Yuki Akiyama.

In honor of the upcoming film Detective Conan: One-eyed Flashback, the long-running anime series will be collaborating with Tokyo Skytree for a three-month-long event this April. The official Girls Band Cry anime accounts announced today that the upcoming compilation movies will release later in 2025, alongside a new piece of key art. The first film, subtitled “Seishun Kyoso Kyoku”, will release in Japan on October 3, 2025. The second film, subtitled “Naa, Mirai.”, will release in Japan on November 11, 2025.
