After the My Hero Academia World Best Hero global character poll crowned Great Explosion Murder God Dynamight, known as Bakugo in civilian life, as the number one World Best Hero yesterday, the top three of that poll went into a 24-hour super quick survey to find THE MHA, aka the character that will be getting a bronze statue erected of them next year. My Hero Academia’s Kohei Horikoshi Unveils Official Marvel Art, Teases Next Manga
My Hero Academia creator Kohei Horikoshi wears his love for American superheroes on his sleeve, and that admiration is mutual. Coinciding with the release of the manga's 42nd and final volume today in Japan, an official art exchange collaboration with Marvel Comics featuring illustrations by Horikoshi and artists Edgar Delgado and Humberto Ramos was unveiled.Series fan Oliver Coipel was originally slated to provide the illustration before having to withdraw due to illness. Ever since the release of the final chapter of Kohei Horikoshi’s superhero manga My Hero Academia, the series has been holding a worldwide character poll to find out who is the World Best Hero. Those results were announced tonight on the SHONEN JUMP YouTube channel, revealing that Bakugo, Deku, and Todoroki will be moving into a run-off 24-hour character poll to find THE MHA, with the winner receiving their own real-life statue. Final My Hero Academia Manga Volume Release Date Set for Japan with New Content
The date is set for the final volume of the My Hero Academia manga release in Japan. Following the end of Kohei Horikoshi's series on August 5, volume 42 will wrap things up in collected form on December 4, 2024.The final volume will also include 38 pages of original manga set after the final chapter, according to the series' official X (formerly Twitter) account.
