One Piece Live-Action Series Reveals Dragon Actor and More for Season 2
The cast for the One Piece live-action series—which adapts Eiichiro Oda's ongoing manga—continues to grow today with the announcement of three new cast members joining the second season. Following on from yesterday’s castings, today the live-action portrayals of the revolutionary Dragon, Alabasta guard Igaram and Loguetown resident Ipponmatsu were revealed. Iñaki Godoy, who plays Luffy in the live-action One Piece series, has been practicing his Japanese skills over the past year for one moment – to talk directly with Eiichiro Oda without the need for an interpreter. That moment came in the form of an interview between the two creatives released on one of Netflix’s YouTube accounts today, where Godoy not only spoke with Oda about what makes Luffy such a compelling protagonist but also made the One Piece creator laugh on many occasions.
