Ryokuoushoku Shakai’s The Apothecary Diaries Anime 1st Opening Song Surpasses 200 Million Streams
The official X (formerly Twitter) for the four-piece Japanese pop rock band Ryokuoushoku Shakai announced on February 17 that their eighth single song "Hana ni Natte" ("Be a flower") had surpassed a milestone of 200 million streams."Hana ni Natte" was newly recorded by the band as the first opening theme for the TV anime The Apothecary Diaries. Under the theme of "Flower blooming in the shade," the lyrics were written by vocalist/guitarist Haruko Nagaya and the music was composed by bassist Shingo Anami.The song released digitally first on October 29, 2023, then the CD single followed from Sony Music Labels' Epic Records Japan on December 6, peaking at #8 on Oricon's weekly single charts.- 0
