The official X (formerly Twitter) for Japanese publisher TO BOOKS announced today that the upcoming new season of the Ascendance of a Bookworm TV anime is set to premiere in 2026. The news will also be revealed on the wrap-around band of the upcoming third short-story collection book of the novel series to be available in Japan on December 10, 2024. The obi also tells that the total number of copies of the series printed has surpassed 11 million.

WIT STUDIO, the animation production company behind SPY × FAMILY, Attack on Titan Seasons 1-3 and more, announced the launch of its own apparel line ARCHIVES on November 26. ARCHIVES is described as a project that aims to cross “past/present/future” and encompass them from outside of animation, using fashion as a special recording medium. Although animation works are completed by a variety of people, by focusing on intermediate products that are usually out of the spotlight and incorporating them into fashion, the project's aim to make the process of animation production widely known and to encourage many people to become interested in the animation industry.
